A special thanks to Emily S. for her help setting this shot up. This is a forced perspective shot using a santa + reindeer holiday decoration about 4ft long. To get this shot, the santa model was hung from wire ~40ft above my telescope (and hundreds/thousands ft away). Using SkySafari, I lined up the position of the Moon (and Jupiter) with the model and was able to obtain this pano image with little processing.

The position of the lunar eclipse relative to the background sky is accurate. However, the 'star' background was shot at a different time from a different location than the eclipsed moon. Ask for more details.
