The position of the lunar eclipse relative to the background sky is accurate. However, the 'star' background was shot at a different time from a different location than the eclipsed moon. Ask for more details.

On June 4th, 2012 North America (along with some other parts of the world) got to experience a partial lunar eclipse. At the maximum, the Moon was 38% in Earth's Umbra shadow (as depicted in the image above). From the location this image was shot, light clouds covered the night sky producing some interesting photo ops.
