Could this image have been taken on a world not our own? With the exception of the snowcapped mountains in the background, this image could have easily come from Mars, however, it did not. Using a careful combination of long exposures and creative lighting, this scene of an pre-sunrise vista, depicts a famous national landmark - Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park, UT. The 'star' in the image is not our sun, nor a star, but rather the alien world we call Venus. It is entirely possible and probable that landscapes such as this lie elsewhere in our Solar System, as of now, it is only a photographers dream to capture their beauty.
